Ever read "A Wind in the Door" by Madeline L'Engle when you were younger? It's the sequal to "A Wrinkle in Time". I read it a long time ago so I don't remember much about it but I do remember one of the characters being a giant mass of eyeballs and wings and imagining it looking pretty much like that... minus the wings...

Dave - Haha lighting's actually pretty fail with the arm being lit completely different from the the rest, wanted to make it stand out more tho
