i think both look fine. of course the coloring is a little sketchy, but it still bears a nice comic-feeling, I think... i don't really know how to explain it, haha. the faint red overlay is a nice touch.
Your shapes can use more definition by tweaking the values a bit more. (Bit more shades and highlights in the right places would make this pop!) If you look at this pice as a whole it looks a bit flat. You lineart can also use variation in weight. Otherwise, freakin awesome piece yo! :D
